Kelly's Rent-To-Own Nintendo Wii For $948

con_leasethiswii.jpg

There’s been a lot of talk around the web concerning Kelly’s $948 Nintendo Wii deal. I’m not sure why anyone is surprised. Rent-to-own has never been considered a smart option, but it’s there for a reason. The beauty of capitalism is the fact that people can charge whatever they want for merchandise in most situations. They can also charge as little as they want. There probably are still people out there so desperate for a Wii that they would pay $948 over a 12 month period for it.

I’d sooner roll up $948 in cash and smoke it, but that’s just me.

To pay something in several months it isnĀ“t desperation.

you have to be on something a lot stronger than $948 to pay that much for a wii. how about you pay me a few hundred to wait in line so you can get one when they arrive at the store.
