Kinect Integration for Garry’s Mod–Video
An ingenious YouTuber has successfully integrated Kinect functionality for the popular sandbox physics game, Gary’s Mod. In his video, he demonstrates the ability to manipulate in-game objects with his body.
He can do such exciting things as:
-Kick boxes
-Kick chairs
-Kick people
-Swing a bucket around
-Watch his awkward movements mimicked by his avatar
Don’t get me wrong; it’s a solid proof-of-concept, but kicking virtual boxes around will get old, fast. Now, something fun needs to be done with this idea.
I bet it’s only a matter of time before people will be pantomiming digging in a Kinect Minecraft mod…
