Kung Fu Lobster on iOS Looks More Like Slap-Fight Lobster (TRAILER)
I’m a vocal fan of iOS games. I like their innovative controls, their usually small-scale time-killing potential, their price points and their consistent ability to surprise and impress me with what they’re capable of creating for less than $10 and on a 4-inch screen.
Then there’s Kung Fu Lobster. I have not played Kung Fu Lobster and I will give it a fair shake, because I can’t decide if it looks like simple goofy fun or total crap. The line between the two is a thin blurry one, with games looking like crap often turning out to be awesome. For example, if you’re an iPhone or iPad fan and you haven’t checked out Zombie Glider, get on it. Just because it looks like it was drawn by a three-year-old doesn’t mean it’s not hilariously fun.
So I’m reserving judgment for Kung Fu Lobster, which has a promising title but a weird little trailer embedded below. It gives me a sort of survival mode Silverfish/Tilt to Live vibe, and both those games are great. Hopefully Kung Fu Lobster is great, too. From this video, though, I have no idea.
