After having now played it I can confirm that Lair is difficult to control, at first. The same way that Gran Turismo was also infuriatingly difficult to get right. When you spend some time on it it the controls are actually quite brilliant.

Some people are saying that the 1.92 firmware update has sorted the controls out which may be why I din’t find anything wrong with them.

I have to agree on the whole controlling LAIR. It’s painful at the start, yes, but 15 minutes of practice and you’d get the hang of it… (15 minutes to get comfortable, and about 1 hour of practice for perfection).

Eventually you get used to the response time (play plenty of CSS with a high-sensitivity mouse, and you could probably save some effort for LAIR practice)

I really was expecting more from this video. They could have at least taken a sip of the coffee, spat it out, and said something like “Crap, that’s some hot coffee!”.

Wow completely beat me to it. Literally, I was thinking, “Heh, no wonder why they’re getting bad reviews”. Haha, this is funny in a kind of “shame on you” kind of way. It’s actual implementation is not funny whatsoever.
