League of Legends Reveals Nautilus, Nerfs Sona

This week, Riot revealed the newest champion coming to League of Legends‘ extensive roster: Nautilus, the Titan of the Depths.

Riot describes Nautilus as follows:

This imposing new champion is a fun, satisfying tank with a new initiation mechanic and a ton of soft crowd control mechanics to wreak havoc on the enemy team. And to top it all off, he’s utterly massive and punishes his opponents with heavy swings from a gigantic anchor.

The gigantic anchor offers the otherwise slow Nautilus some interesting movement options by means of an ability known as Dredge Line, which can either be used on terrain for a quick speed boost or to pull himself and an enemy closer together.

Check out this preview of the Nautilus patch:

This patch spells bad news for fans of Sona — but good news for game balance — as more nerfs are coming to this support champion.
