League of Legends World Championship Final Tomorrow Night
This one is for all the marbles. And by “marbles” I mean $1 million dollars, not a bag of spherical glass toys.
The League of Legends World Championship final is at 11 p.m. Eastern (8 p.m. Pacific) tomorrow in Los Angeles and it will pit Korea’s SK Telecom T1 (aka SKT) against China’s Royal Club, widely considered the best and second best LoL teams on the planet. Fittingly for this exploding eSport, the match will be played in the sold out Staples Center — you know, the place where the LA Lakers ball. This is gonna be fun.
The match will be live streamed by Riot Games on the official League of Legends eSports site and if you’d like to watch with a few fellow Summoners, check out the League of Legends Viewing Party program. The system allows anyone to enter the viewing party they’ll be hosting or simply find the nearest location to tune in. It’s a League of Legends party, y’all.
I’m excited to see Tommy Doyle’s in Boston (the Kendall Square location) on the viewing party map. Hope to see a few of you there!
