League of Legends Zenith Blade Recreated on Man at Arms [VID]

Ever wish you can see what one of those impractical, unrealistic, stylized video game swords would look like in real life? Expert Hollywood blacksmith Tony Swatton forges one in the newest episode of Man at Arms.

This episode’s sword is the Zenith Blade, wielded by League of Legends champion Leona, the Radiant Dawn. Watch it come to life:

There’s something altogether compelling about watching the project from start to finish — about following the process, understanding the design decisions, and seeing the vision realized — but if you’d rather just see the final product in action, skip ahead to the six-minute mark for some slice-and-dice action. Oh, that poor watermelon.

Having a custom-forged blade must be a cosplayer’s dream. I’m certain that some League of Legends fans would be willing to pay a pretty penny to get a hold of that sword. Would you?
