Yes, compaired to the other games in TES series Oblivion fell far short, i think we can all agree to that....there was little depth, shallow and boring story, spoon-fed quests, ect.

But this is not the issue, the issue is these few idiotic gamers that can judge a long standing development house on -one- game, because you see it's the only argument they have to work with....yet they ignore all the good games this company has released...because it doesn't fit with the paper thin argument their desperately trying to pull from thie asses.

Gross over-assumptions are made by paper-doll gamers who know jack about the industry, they have ZERO idea what Bethesda is truly capable of and they don't much care...as long as they have something to bith and moan about then there satisfied.

I'm still surprised there are people out there who loved Oblivion. The games was nothing more than 3 quests repeated over and over. It had some good elements, granted, but playing it felt more like a chore than fun most of the time...

I can't believe this moronic argument is STILL going on.

Interplay was a great development house...but a shitty business, they hired the very best in the field and in the process spent more money than they had.

They owned Black Isle and 13 Degrees East, neither of which they needed considering that Interplay was more than capable of handling any work that came around...and of course they had good ol Fergus at the reigns...the biggest ass-kisser in gaming.

Bottom line folks: Interplay had an amazing company and a amazing series and they screwed the pooch...you don't have to like it but that's the way it is.

Oh, and for all you Beth haters who think Beth will screw up Fallout 3....erm remember Fallout:Brotherhood Of Steel...i seriously doubt they can top that pile of crap, and that was made by the people you defend.

Oblivion is one of the greatest masterpieces ever created for interactive video entertainment. To say otherwise is to point out your own subjective shortcomings.

That said, I'm looking forward to Fallout3 so much it almost hurts, like when you really have to go to the bathroom;)

So the level Scaling sucked in Oblivion......the rest of the game and there was a lot of it was great. Stop focusing on the negative. I still loved Oblivion and I played through the whole thing twice. If you think a developer with that much talent isn't going to learn from their mistakes just bury your head in the sand and don't buy Fallout 3.

Will this be like Oblivion? I mean, how *before* the game was released everyone was talking about how level scaling and shit would be cool and that Bethesda are clearly on the right path etc... and we should trust them...

And then *after* the game was released, everyone's gone "Well yeah, it does kind of suck actually. The graphics are nothing like half the screenshots we've seen, anything at range is God-awful and half the content that they at least had in Morrowind is missing".

But yeah, you know... *This time* it'll be different. Trust us. Honest.
