    1. Superman and Batman are on the Joker’s trail. You’ll start with Superman, use your Heat Vision to destroy all three flyers, and you’ll catch up to the giant Joker-bot.
    2. As you get in close, you’ll be able to spot two silver Lego objects at the base of the giant robot’s feet. Superman’s lasers won’t do a thing to silver. Switch to Batman in his own flyer and blast those silver bricks.
    3. While chasing the Joker, you can spot Joker balloons floating by to your left and right. If you miss them, just wait, they’ll be back! If you shoot down the balloons, shoot the box quickly and you’ll gain a minikit for each.
    4. Next, you might notice a single flyer cross the center of the screen. Shoot it down to save a civilian for the stage.
    5. Destroy all four of the silver Lego objects on the Joker-bot’s feet. There are four per foot. Break them all, and you’ll show the gold Lego objects on their feet.
    6. Break one, and Joker-Bot will fly forward and more enemies will appear. Shoot them all down with Superman, and the Joker-Bot will slow down, letting you take out the second gold brick.
    7. Now, Joker-Bot will retreat again. Destroy another wave of bad guys to get the giant robot to slow down. Keep shooting down the missiles to get in close, and the World’s Finest heroes will drop down onto the Joker Robot itself.
    8. On the robot, run to the left leg and a flyer will attack. Use Batman’s grappling hook to target the orange Lego hook to pull off the cockpit, then throw a Batarang to make the enemy craft smash into the Joker Robot.
    9. The bricks will crash in a fire. Use Superman’s Ice Breath to put out the flames, build the bricks, and grab Batman’s Power Suit. Now that you have a Power Suit, you can destroy the silver Lego vents on the left of the robot’s back.
    10. With the silver bricks destroyed, it’ll expose gold bricks underneath. The robot will also fire with a super laser! Move quick, and use Superman’s Heat Vision to destroy those gold bricks.
    11. After the golds are broken, an orange power handle will appear. Use Superman’s super strength to tear it off, and more silver Lego panels will appear on the right side of the robot – along with Lexbots and three laser turrets.
    12. Destroy all three turrets to collect a minikit. It’s especially easy to do with Superman’s Heat Vision.
    13. On the right side, destroy the silver with Batman missiles, then use Heat Vision to destroy the gold. Another orange power handle will appear, so pull it off with their hero.
    14. With that job done, the level will complete. Moving on, Lex and Joker are still on the loose!
    15. Gotham City – Crash Landing

    16. Follow the clear blue studs all the way down the road, and make a left to reach a large gate blocking off your way to the bridge, and the next level.
    17. Use Superman’s Heat Vision on the gold Lego brick lock, on the right side of the tall gate. When destroyed, it’ll lower and let you continue.
    18. Just follow those clear blue studs! They’ll take you right to the crash site. Get close to the giant robot, and you’ll start a new level.

Well, I’m trying to track down one minikit cannister. Can you get which one? Yep, the Core Instability one. With the minikit detector on, there is an arrow pointing at the top of a tree. I’ve toppled all 3 statues, blown up all 10 searchlights, all 5 joker boxes, the cars, the billboards, and even the elusive helicopter, so I have no idea what is left, or why the arrow is pointing at a big nothing there. Any suggestions? I’ve played the level at least a dozen times now (no I’m not exaggerating), but have no idea what I am missing.

    Hey mage11an:

The big problem with most online guides for minikit cannisters is that they are -super- lazy and don’t bother showing the process to finding the minikit.

I’ve checked it out myself, and I’ll go through all the possibilities:

At the very start of the level, there’s a Two-Face jeep. Blow that up, and you’ll get one. Later one, there will be a yellow parked taxi, and another Two-Face jeep.

After those vehicles, at the bend, there’s a Lego status holding a big key. Blast that. That might be the minikit you’re looking for.

    Here’s hoping,

Yeah, I eventually found a youtube that shows someone getting all the minikits. Again, I’ve shot the billboards, the cars, the statue arm with the key, the helicopter, and all 3 different statue bases. Nothing. Just that minikit detector arrow pointing at the top of a tree.

One thing about this level that I find a little shoddy: in free-play, no matter which characters you select, you will only ever get to see batman in the bat-mobile, or robin on his motorcycle. Would it really have hurt them to give the option of rotating through the other characters and their vehicles (so long as the vehicles are armed).

If you still can’t find the last minikit, I think I’ve finally figured it out. The last minikit — the one where the arrow is pointing at trees, is from one bad guy jeep on the road. The catch? You can’t destroy the statue, you’ll need to be on the first cycle around the city for this enemy car to appear.

That’s my best guess, and it’s the last one I found — and the arrows were pointing at trees. Give it a try, it might be my last idea.

Nope. Tried that. I think the location on top of the tree is a generic hiding spot of some kind, that doesn’t go with any particular trophy. Just for the ones that aren’t about blowing up specific targets, or where the minikits hide until you collect them… Anyway, I still don’t know what I need to do to collect this one. A made three trips round each lap, shooting to the right and shooting to the left. That’s 18 trips around the city. No idea what I could possibly be missing.

Well, maybe that was it after all.
Seems strange to put the arrow pointing at the tree instead of, oh, say… The truck you’re supposed to shoot. Still, compared to some of the games, that is only mildly annoying. (lego Indiana Jones 2 was full of awful nonsense that made me just give up)

To get the minikit near the tree: destroy fist two ace car at start, then do not shoot fist statue wait and the second two face car will appear, destroy it. That how I got it.
