At Stark Tower, use Captain America’s shield to smash the Stark sign, then target the Shield Switch. Once the door opens, use Iron Man on the control panel. Switch on the pointers until the green light appears.

Inside, start with Captain America targeting the Shield Switch above the blue forcefield to the left. Smash it, then throw the shield in get inside the room.

Smash the malfunctioning robot limbs, the suit, and the tables to cobble enough hopping bricks together into a security terminal – usable by Iron Man.

Hit the attack key with the cursor over the three blue lines to shut down the forcefields. Run by the flickering beams with Captain America until a deadly laser appears!

Activate Cap’s shield-stance and use the America Pad to bounce the beam back at the turret to destroy it. Construct the hopping bricks to create another Iron Man security terminal.

Using the terminal will put you in control of a flying drone. Float up and out through the tiny opening near the ceiling, then land the drone onto the little blue waypoint.

To the right, Tony Stark will be able to interact with the target mark to jump into a new suit of Iron Man armor. With the suit, move left to another beam-wall with silver bricks locking the thing closed.

Blast the silver bricks with Iron Man’s new armor, then lower the wall by targeting the Shield Switch with Captain America.

Step onto the lift, and rush right. Behind the blue shield, hit the lever in the background to mark a large wheeled Lego construction appear on the electrified track.

Switch to Iron Man and leave Captain America at the lever. Have Iron Man use the terminal to get the large platform move so Captain America can ride it safely to the right over the deadly ground.

Go back to Captain America and enter shield-stance to cross the fires, then smash the computer in the back corner to open the laser-gate.

Run up the steps and blast off the silvery locks on the door to step outside. Use the poles to get onto the high ledge with Cap.

Go back inside to reach the interior ledge, with a large unlit switch you’ll need to jump onto, activating a fan so Iron Man and meet up again.

With Iron Man, run right to the purple chamber and blast the silver Lego construction inside to turn the fan off.

Ignore the Cap Pad for now, and run right to find silver locks – perfectly destroyable with Iron Man’s missiles. Captain America can wall-jump up to the turbine’s turn-style. Push it to reveal silver machinery below – once again, blow it all apart with Iron Man’s missiles.

Now two beams will appear. Time for Captain America to use that Cap Pad! Reflect the beams into the two blue Lego squares until the door glows with neon light.

With the door lowered, run into the hallway and enter shield-stance with Captain America to avoid getting blasted by the new beam turret. Walk into the pad and reflect the beam into the turret.

Construct the left-over hopping bricks. Grab both levers simultaneously to open the set of doors and into Jervis’ core.

Hit both Shield Switches with Cap’s targeting, that return to the foreground to reflect the beam into the inactive right Lego generator.

Use the white marker to get Iron Man’s latest suit of armor. Now he can cut through the gold wall with his special ability.

Outside on the helipad, Iron Man and Captain America have to deal with both Killian and the Mandarin.

Keep destroying goons until the Mandarin pops down to stun one of your heroes. Switch characters and punch Mandarin to get him to retreat. Killian will join the fight now – hit him once to continue the fight.

Complete the process two more times to defeat Killian. The Mandarin has another trick up his sleeve – Stark’s Hulkbuster armor!

Defeat 40 baddies to get the true battle started. The Mandarin will fly around, firing blasts of energy. Fly with Iron Man and target the super-villain with missiles until a whole swarm of Iron Man armors appear to help.

Hit the attack key to automatically fire blasts or target the boss manually to fire missiles. Keep up the onslaught to bring the heavy armor down.

When the armor crashes to the ground, use Iron Man’s special beam to destroy the gold brick on the back and finally defeat Stark’s nemesis.

Where do you purchase characters in the game…I can’t find the room

    Kevin Thielenhaus

    On October 25, 2013 at 8:59 am

To purchase characters, you just hold down the switch-characters button to bring up the menu. Weirdly, it doesn’t work for every character — you can’t bring up the menu with Hulk or Spider-Man for instance. And, the menu only seems to appear during free mode when you’re not on the main campaign path.

    how to unlock deadpool?

    On October 26, 2013 at 8:40 pm

Um, how about NON-Lego Marvel heroes?? When will ever see THAT? Like a AAA co-op Avengers title with some big semi-open levels?

    On October 28, 2013 at 7:09 am

To actually buy the characters when you aren’t in free mode, go to a Shield terminal (the blue terminals) and activate it. Go to Characters. It will get you the grid to buy the characters.

How do I get up to the dish and swing across me and my son can not figure it out

    Kevin Thielenhaus

    On November 11, 2013 at 11:29 am

If you’re having trouble with the rooftops in the second level, start with Mr. Fantastic.

He can jump across the gap and glide (Press Jump a second time) to reach the rooftop on the right. Look above for a building interior with glass windows, on the right side there should be a glowing handle.

Stand underneath that with Mr. Fantastic to pull the handle, which will destroy the wall and dump down some hopping bricks. Construct the bricks into a ladder, then climb up into the building where Mr. Fantastic can run around behind the glass windows.

Smash all the Lego objects behind the glass windows to reveal even more bouncing Lego bricks. Those construct into a turn-style with a green side and a red side. Push on the green side, and the poles for Captain America to use on the dish should line up correctly.

I hope that helps! If you’re still having trouble, please feel free to e-mail me or leave us another comment.

Glimmering little ghost studs should lead Black Widow and Hawkeye to a couple of store-fronts. You can check out how to complete the puzzles at the very start of the “Red Head Detention” level walkthrough. Hope that helps you!

There seems to be a glitch when I make the Fantasticar appear to try to start the Latveria level. The ground turns and I see the vehicle but then it seems to fall and disappear. I can sometimes pick it up the invisible vehicle with characters like Hulk but I can’t get in it to start the mission. Have you heard of anything like this? Is there a way around this?

My Game has stopped working after completed sand central station. After the final video in sand central station end the game is in black screen for 10-20 seconds and stopped working.

    On December 23, 2013 at 2:24 pm

My 4 year old loves to play, but he doesn’t listen well and isn’t very patient (go figure…) Is there an easy way to find the start of the next level? My son always pushes the “skip” button at the end of each level, right when it is explaining where to to next, and we spend hours running around trying to find where the next level starts. I can easily find levels we’ve already beaten, I just need a way to find the start of the next part of the story in New York City.

    Thanks for the help!

    On December 24, 2013 at 1:57 pm

The game wont let me go to level 6 any help plz

    On December 29, 2013 at 6:02 pm

Just follow the holographic man leaving a trail blue studs – he’ll always lead you back to the start of the level even if you go for a wander around New York (if you seem to have wandered too far away just stop a vehicle and press the letter/symbol indicated to commandeer it and follow the hologuy that way).

    On December 29, 2013 at 9:51 pm

    @ Dave
Thank you, but that seems to be my problem. I don’t have a holographic guy leaving blue studs…I have a holographic Deadpool leaving red studs if I place a marker on the map, but no blue studs. I think we may have reached a point in the game where we need to collect more gold bricks to move on, or at least that seems to be the case. Am I right? We’ve found several bricked over doors that look like the beginnings of new levels but then a number pops up when I get close like 27/50 with the image of a gold brick next to the numbers. I figured I just had to run around completing side quests and getting gold bricks before we’ll be allowed to continue. Does the story line halt if you don’t have enough gold bricks? (remember I’m playing with a 4 year old who can’t be convinced of the importance of clearing a level before moving on…we often don’t get all the stuff in each level before he’s ready to “get more guys!”)
    Again, Thanks for the help!

    On December 30, 2013 at 12:34 pm

hey, some brown bricks are missing in front of the deadpool missions, how can i find them?

    On December 30, 2013 at 6:08 pm

I’m only up to Magnetic Personality but, as far as I know, you should be able to complete the story mode as long as you have completed the previous levels.

It might be worth going back to the Helicarrier control room to check what’s been completed in the story mode. If you’ve completed the story mode but only have a low completion score on some of the levels it’s possible that you’re missing parts of the minikits that are only available in story mode. Fortunately you can just replay these missions to boost the score and get the parts.

You then need to go through the levels again in free play mode to get the rest of the parts of the minikits (some parts need character skills that aren’t available in story mode (magnetic abilities, etc) to get the parts), as well as completing the various side missions and Stan Lee rescues.

Can you ever cross the bridge that is under construction

    On January 11, 2014 at 11:15 pm

Im curious if anyone is having the same problem as me. My game wont let me get past the part where captain America has to deflect the lasers to open the door. Im standing on the platform with his special power activated and its telling me to push the control buttons to move the lasers but nothing happens…How do I fix this?

    On January 12, 2014 at 12:10 pm

So when I get in asteroid M it won’t let me blow up or destroy the silver.
Thor will get his beam thing in the right place and it will move. I’m not doing
It, it’ll just move on it’s on. So I’m not able to leave it there long enough
    To destroy it. WTF?!

    On January 18, 2014 at 2:03 am

    On January 20, 2014 at 6:08 pm

how do you save the levels?

    On January 22, 2014 at 1:03 pm

My 5 year old son has played all the levels and wants Magneto for some of the bonus levels. I cannot find out where or how to buy magneto…he doesn’t come up. I made him replay the magneto level 13 and the final level because I thought he should unlock once those levels were beat and maybe it was a glitch, Well I still cannot find Magneto. Help!

    Kevin Thielenhaus

    On January 22, 2014 at 3:45 pm

@Alison: Hmm! Magneto should unlock after finishing level 13. Magneto is usually located in the lower right corner of the screen, a few rows up from the bottom.

can you ever cross the bridge in the game

    On January 28, 2014 at 6:41 pm

does anyone know who the other mandarin is? i have the one with the red suit already

    On February 2, 2014 at 9:42 am

For the person asking about Mandarin… He was a Popular villain for Iron Man and Captain America during the late 60′s to Early 70′s. Personally I was never a fan… He was a very intelligent man but with no real powers except wealth and “Political Influence” – Think David Cameron with Attitude and ideas an you are half way there…

PC Version has many bugs… If you are struggling on the PC:

Turn all settings to low and play in 800×600 Resolution
Jumps are a big issue… But I found if I got stuck on a rail (IE: After Doc Ock… Neither Hawkeye nor Black Widow could use the poles properly…) if I paused and resumed, it would interrupt the flow and the character would jump.

The other fix is to use the Free Program Cheat Engine and use its “SpeedHack” function… My Laptop has enough processor and graphics to run the game well, but when a lot is going on (Which is often) it lags really bad making some tasks impossible.

By Slowing or Speeding the game up with the speedhack, I managed to sure most issues.

Sadly, it is yet another bugged lego title which is annoying – Still! Love the game!
