Flying to Asgard can be disorienting. You’re in control of the tiny Captain America – watch for rings of studs, follow those to avoid incoming debris.

Before long, you’ll be in the mystical realm and under attack by Frost Giants! All that ice has one answer; the Human Torch and his fire. Burn down the three large blocks of ice in the center of the arena.

Construct the hopping bricks to create a generator. Thor can power this up – but he needs to get charged first. Hold down the special button to charge Thor with electricity, then hold down his special button to fire a stream of lightning into the generator until it completely lights up.

The exit door to the rainbow road will open. Fight through the horde of 20 giants to reach the gates on the far end.

Loki is waiting. Get close and he’ll stun a single hero. Simply switch to another and punch Loki to get him reeling.

Now for the golden gate. Melt the ice with Human Torch, then target the blue cracks with Thor’s hammer. One door blown open!

Loki awaits at the top of some frozen steps. The same trick applies here, but only two heroes can reach him this time; Thor and Human Torch. Let Loki stun on hero, then attack Loki with another.

After hitting Loki, he’ll destroy some Lego columns and cause them to fall. Completely destroy them to find hopping bricks that result in a bridge for your flight-challenged heroes.

Wolverin is up next. Past the stairs, use his super-senses to discover a wall-climb section outside the icy blue chamber. Use the Claws Switch to open the interior, allowing Thor to charge-up and power-up the Lego generator inside.

Next up, melt the gold horse-statue with Human Torch and construct the hopping bricks into a Shield Switch. Activate that with Cap’s targeted attack and a turn-style will appear. Push it to create stairs up to the next level higher.

Once again, Loki is waiting. Punch him once to get the mischievous god to retreat. Wolverine is up to dig the dirt bricks to the left of the golden doors. Build the Claw Switch and activate it to make a generator appear.

Fly up to the generator and charge it with Thor. The elevator below will activate, allowing Wolverine to reach another sparkly super-senses area. Use them to reveal yellow cracks in a statue. The cracks might be yellow, but Thor’s hammer will break down the statue.

Blast the golden section of the statue’s head with Human Torch and construct the hopping bricks to complete a fountain nearby. The water helps spring to life two flowery platforms. Use those to chase Loki into the palace.

Of course, Loki plays tricks and summons a swarm of copies. None of them are real – use Wolverine and stand near the center to prompt his super-senses, revealing the true Loki. Smack the villain and he’ll retreat, but not before knocking over a chandelier.

Use the hopping bricks from the chandelier to construct a new Shield Switch.

Final battle time! Loki summons the Destroyer to attack. Avoid it’s deadly beam and magma attacks which linger on the ground, and don’t try to run up the stairs.

Instead, use Human Torch to melt the ice bricks on the left side and construct the hopping bricks into a Captain America pad. Now Captain America can reflect the beam back at your true enemy – aim for Loki instead of the giant robot.

Now a large glowing marker will appear near the Destroyer. Switch to Thor and attack while standing in the light to knock off a chunk of this giant’s armor.

Follow those same steps three times to defeat it. Melt the ice block, construct the Cap Pad, reflect the energy beam on Loki, then attack Destroyer with Thor.

For the final phase, Loki will summon another army of copies. You know his trick this time – use Wolverine’s super-senses to detect the real Loki.

The angry Loki will stun Wolverine. Just switch to another hero and put this bad guy down for the count… before his inevitable escape.

Where do you purchase characters in the game…I can’t find the room

    Kevin Thielenhaus

    On October 25, 2013 at 8:59 am

To purchase characters, you just hold down the switch-characters button to bring up the menu. Weirdly, it doesn’t work for every character — you can’t bring up the menu with Hulk or Spider-Man for instance. And, the menu only seems to appear during free mode when you’re not on the main campaign path.

    how to unlock deadpool?

    On October 26, 2013 at 8:40 pm

Um, how about NON-Lego Marvel heroes?? When will ever see THAT? Like a AAA co-op Avengers title with some big semi-open levels?

    On October 28, 2013 at 7:09 am

To actually buy the characters when you aren’t in free mode, go to a Shield terminal (the blue terminals) and activate it. Go to Characters. It will get you the grid to buy the characters.

How do I get up to the dish and swing across me and my son can not figure it out

    Kevin Thielenhaus

    On November 11, 2013 at 11:29 am

If you’re having trouble with the rooftops in the second level, start with Mr. Fantastic.

He can jump across the gap and glide (Press Jump a second time) to reach the rooftop on the right. Look above for a building interior with glass windows, on the right side there should be a glowing handle.

Stand underneath that with Mr. Fantastic to pull the handle, which will destroy the wall and dump down some hopping bricks. Construct the bricks into a ladder, then climb up into the building where Mr. Fantastic can run around behind the glass windows.

Smash all the Lego objects behind the glass windows to reveal even more bouncing Lego bricks. Those construct into a turn-style with a green side and a red side. Push on the green side, and the poles for Captain America to use on the dish should line up correctly.

I hope that helps! If you’re still having trouble, please feel free to e-mail me or leave us another comment.

Glimmering little ghost studs should lead Black Widow and Hawkeye to a couple of store-fronts. You can check out how to complete the puzzles at the very start of the “Red Head Detention” level walkthrough. Hope that helps you!

There seems to be a glitch when I make the Fantasticar appear to try to start the Latveria level. The ground turns and I see the vehicle but then it seems to fall and disappear. I can sometimes pick it up the invisible vehicle with characters like Hulk but I can’t get in it to start the mission. Have you heard of anything like this? Is there a way around this?

My Game has stopped working after completed sand central station. After the final video in sand central station end the game is in black screen for 10-20 seconds and stopped working.

    On December 23, 2013 at 2:24 pm

My 4 year old loves to play, but he doesn’t listen well and isn’t very patient (go figure…) Is there an easy way to find the start of the next level? My son always pushes the “skip” button at the end of each level, right when it is explaining where to to next, and we spend hours running around trying to find where the next level starts. I can easily find levels we’ve already beaten, I just need a way to find the start of the next part of the story in New York City.

    Thanks for the help!

    On December 24, 2013 at 1:57 pm

The game wont let me go to level 6 any help plz

    On December 29, 2013 at 6:02 pm

Just follow the holographic man leaving a trail blue studs – he’ll always lead you back to the start of the level even if you go for a wander around New York (if you seem to have wandered too far away just stop a vehicle and press the letter/symbol indicated to commandeer it and follow the hologuy that way).

    On December 29, 2013 at 9:51 pm

    @ Dave
Thank you, but that seems to be my problem. I don’t have a holographic guy leaving blue studs…I have a holographic Deadpool leaving red studs if I place a marker on the map, but no blue studs. I think we may have reached a point in the game where we need to collect more gold bricks to move on, or at least that seems to be the case. Am I right? We’ve found several bricked over doors that look like the beginnings of new levels but then a number pops up when I get close like 27/50 with the image of a gold brick next to the numbers. I figured I just had to run around completing side quests and getting gold bricks before we’ll be allowed to continue. Does the story line halt if you don’t have enough gold bricks? (remember I’m playing with a 4 year old who can’t be convinced of the importance of clearing a level before moving on…we often don’t get all the stuff in each level before he’s ready to “get more guys!”)
    Again, Thanks for the help!

    On December 30, 2013 at 12:34 pm

hey, some brown bricks are missing in front of the deadpool missions, how can i find them?

    On December 30, 2013 at 6:08 pm

I’m only up to Magnetic Personality but, as far as I know, you should be able to complete the story mode as long as you have completed the previous levels.

It might be worth going back to the Helicarrier control room to check what’s been completed in the story mode. If you’ve completed the story mode but only have a low completion score on some of the levels it’s possible that you’re missing parts of the minikits that are only available in story mode. Fortunately you can just replay these missions to boost the score and get the parts.

You then need to go through the levels again in free play mode to get the rest of the parts of the minikits (some parts need character skills that aren’t available in story mode (magnetic abilities, etc) to get the parts), as well as completing the various side missions and Stan Lee rescues.

Thanks so much for the help…turns out we hadn’t actually completed the Red Head Detention level, that’s why we couldn’t find the next one!!!

Can you ever cross the bridge that is under construction

    On January 11, 2014 at 11:15 pm

Im curious if anyone is having the same problem as me. My game wont let me get past the part where captain America has to deflect the lasers to open the door. Im standing on the platform with his special power activated and its telling me to push the control buttons to move the lasers but nothing happens…How do I fix this?

    On January 12, 2014 at 12:10 pm

So when I get in asteroid M it won’t let me blow up or destroy the silver.
Thor will get his beam thing in the right place and it will move. I’m not doing
It, it’ll just move on it’s on. So I’m not able to leave it there long enough
    To destroy it. WTF?!

    On January 18, 2014 at 2:03 am

I have a problem in this level.
The lift in hydra base is stuck and not going up. Can anyone suggst something? I have tried restarting the whole game but it doesnot work.

    On January 20, 2014 at 6:08 pm

how do you save the levels?

    On January 22, 2014 at 1:03 pm

My 5 year old son has played all the levels and wants Magneto for some of the bonus levels. I cannot find out where or how to buy magneto…he doesn’t come up. I made him replay the magneto level 13 and the final level because I thought he should unlock once those levels were beat and maybe it was a glitch, Well I still cannot find Magneto. Help!

    Kevin Thielenhaus

    On January 22, 2014 at 3:45 pm

@Alison: Hmm! Magneto should unlock after finishing level 13. Magneto is usually located in the lower right corner of the screen, a few rows up from the bottom.

does anyone know who the other mandarin is? i have the one with the red suit already

    On February 2, 2014 at 9:42 am

For the person asking about Mandarin… He was a Popular villain for Iron Man and Captain America during the late 60′s to Early 70′s. Personally I was never a fan… He was a very intelligent man but with no real powers except wealth and “Political Influence” – Think David Cameron with Attitude and ideas an you are half way there…

PC Version has many bugs… If you are struggling on the PC:

Turn all settings to low and play in 800×600 Resolution
Jumps are a big issue… But I found if I got stuck on a rail (IE: After Doc Ock… Neither Hawkeye nor Black Widow could use the poles properly…) if I paused and resumed, it would interrupt the flow and the character would jump.

The other fix is to use the Free Program Cheat Engine and use its “SpeedHack” function… My Laptop has enough processor and graphics to run the game well, but when a lot is going on (Which is often) it lags really bad making some tasks impossible.

By Slowing or Speeding the game up with the speedhack, I managed to sure most issues.

Sadly, it is yet another bugged lego title which is annoying – Still! Love the game!
