Konami has announced the availability of a limited edition Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots PS3 bundle for North America. Featuring a Gun Metal Gray 40 GB PS3 with matching DualShock 3 wireless controller and Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots Limited Edition game. The bundle will be exclusively available at Konami’s website for $599.99.
Pre-sell for the bundle begins on May 19th and limited supplies are available.

Let’s see, I’m not a basher of PS3, and an avid collector of Limited Edition stuff. However, this is the weak 40 gig system ($399.99 that comes with a controller), and an $85 game (I think that is the price of limited anyhow).
With the price difference, there is absolutely NO WAY EVER that I would consider buying this. Complete rip-off IMO. And I want a PS3. Especially with Lair getting analog controls.
But seriously, I could not bring myself to get this, and I even bought the Prey Limited Edition, with a preorder, just for the figurines and metal case.

i have gotten a newly used PS3 60 GB for half this price, way better and i enjoy it latley, but i prefer the black color PS3 or some of the ones some people repaint like a white one.
but this gun metal grey dont do it for me, it dont have that shine the black one looks like. its like owning a cool type of car, you know it always looks sexier in black. As for the price, what a rip off for a garbage 40 gb PS3. what are you paying for a usless paint job and a game u can get for $69 where is the extra $130 or so going to? RIP off, for that price, do yourself a favor, get the 80 gb atleast.

While I think that the gun metal gray color is pretty cool (prob because I like guns
)I have to agree with Xboxlenny, the black one is indeed sexier and shiny.
