I have been gaming since I was a young kid, even before the Atari 2600 but I game still and do it on several platforms, including Linux and truthfully, the graphics in Unreal Tournament for instance are far better considering that OpenGL is native to Linux not Windows and so is libSDL. Stop being chicken and try it out but don’t cry if you have to work for some things. Windows has dominated the market through it’s lies so Linux has had to fight for what it gets developed for it but that is all changing now since everyone is seeing Microsoft for what they are. Give it a chance and you will see. Or are you scared?!?! =P

Pull you head out from under that rock. Even before Linux Distros, Windows has never been the best OS. Well, the best at getting viruses, spyware, crashing, and running slow.

Linux on gaming does not suck. Linux performs much better than Windows. It’s just that there are very few games being released for Linux.
