Looks Like Battlefield 3 Players Having Tech Problems Are On Their Own

So I’m sure you’ve heard by now that Battlefield 3 is having just a few wee problems as of late. Unfortunately, it turns out that anonymous former EA employee wasn’t lying. If you contact EA customer service, you’re kind of on your own:

Infinity Ward is the one bringing in the money! It has been predicted to outsell BF3 2 to 1!

soccerstreetboy, predictions don’t always pan out (e.g. many people predicted Manchester United would beat Manchester City in the recent derby).

Since when can opened software be returned? Am I missing something here?

Yes. You are missing the joke.

What joke? Are you being deliberately obtuse? First, you did not answer my question as to whether opened software can now be returned, so I’ll have to assume you don’t know.

As for the main point, if this guy was angry at EA’s customer service (and rightfully so) and he told the rep he was going to return the game–when an opened game can’t be returned–the joke is on HIM.

And when you perceive a joke that doesn’t even exist, the joke is on you, as well.
