MadCatz Cyborg R.A.T. Gaming Mice Scamper to Retail

There is a war on it seems among gaming mice creators. That war:  Create the most insanely precise optical mouse on the planet.

The latest salvo of technology “oneupsmanship” -  MadCatz’s new R.A.T.7 mouse has hit 5600DPI precision. This mouse also includes a quick switch to downscale the mouse resolution to 4 programmable levels, Precision Aim mode which slows cursor movement on the fly and the Cyborg ST configuration software for programming the device.

The R.A.T.7 is built from a metal frame and even includes interchangeable palm rests, adjustable width, length and height and pinkie grips. The Cyborg even includes space for custom weights to give the device the ability to be customized to any hand or desired feel. That and it looks very high-tech in its mechanical black sheen.

The Cyborg R.A.T7 is the first release in the line which includes the R.A.T3,R.A.T.5and the wireless R.A.T9 models. The 7 is now shipping to retail for around $100 and the drivers support Windows 7, XP and Vista.
