Malukah Sings a New Song for The Elder Scrolls Online

Malukah, best known for her cover of the Skyrim theme song, its various tracks, and other video game covers, has released a new track titled “Beauty of Dawn.” As detailed on her personal blog, the song was produced with the cooperation and support of ZeniMax Online Studios.

According to Malukah, she was asked by the developers to write a fan song for the Elder Scrolls community—one inspired by the story of the Elder Scrolls Online, a forthcoming massively-multiplayer online game from ZeniMax Online Studios and published by Bethesda.

The singer says that she read in the lore that the word Tamriel means “Dawn’s Beauty”, hence the naming of the song. She states that she will be sharing more details about how the entire song came to be in the coming days and weeks.

Malukah is featured in our article celebrating Skyrim’s amazing fans.
