
Japan has its share of interesting trends, one of which involves dressing up kids’ lunches with cutesy images (much like every other product in Japan). As such, one Nintendo fanatic has crafted Bento boxes into te likenesses of Mario and some of his cohorts. I suppose that’s just Japan for you: we get alphabet soup, they get culinary works of art. The only drawback to this is I would actually feel a little bad about eating this as just a simple lunch. Assembling a bacon and eggs smiley face is one thing, but whoever made this had to actually carve a moustache and eyebrows out of seaweed.
