Planetwide Games, 4Kids Entertainment and TC Digital Games have announced a partnership that will bring MashON Chaotic Comic Book Creator to gamers by the end of 2008. This online tool based on the Chaotic Trading Card Game and television series will allow you to design your own comics and graphic novels using licensed art and images from the brand.
“The Chaotic Comic Book Creator offers fans another unique and innovative way to enhance their interactive entertainment experience,” said Carlin West, Executive Vice President, Property Acquisitions & Development, 4Kids Entertainment. “The brand’s vivid and distinctive imagery will offer fans a compelling environment in which to exercise their Chaotic creativity.”
“As a kid, I always wondered what it would be like if I wrote my own personalized story of my favorite trading card characters” said Philippe Benoliel, CEO of Planetwide Games. “Now, with the click of the mouse, you can drag ‘n drop Chaotic characters, speech bubbles, caption headers, clip art, audio, and video into the story to create your very own customized comic book that can be shared with your friends online.”
MashON Chaotic Comic Book Creator will be available for free to all registered accounts on www.MashOn.com.
I see this as a good tool to spark the imagination of anyone who’s dreamed of creating comics. Hopefully, it will inspire some to create their own original comics one day.
