Mass Effect 3 ‘Firefight’ DLC Adds Guns to Single Player Today

Mass Effect 3 has guns. Lots of guns. But apparently some people need more guns.

So starting today, you can download an additional set of seven weapons from Mass Effect 3′s multiplayer mode to use in the single-player campaign as part of the Firefight DLC pack. Did you need that?

And here’s the list of guns:

The Indra and Krysae sniper rifles, Reegar Carbine, Harrier battle rifle, Geth SMG, plus an all-new Blood Pack Punisher SMG and Adas Anti-Synthetic rifle.

Sweet, I guess. If the DLC seems a little paltry, don’t worry — it costs next to nothing. Spend $2 and you’ll get the new weapon set on PC or Playstation 3, or 160 MS Points on Xbox Live.

I just can’t get behind DLC like this. It’s such an easy cash grab since it adds nothing substantial to the game, and it is especially true for this game. These guns were all made for multiplayer, and are now being brought over to single player and sold.
