Mass Effect 3 Heads Back to Omega This Week (TRAILER)

Mass Effect 3‘s next bit of story-based downloadable content is coming this week, and you know what that means: new trailer.

We already know most of the major details for this outing, including that the DLC will have Shepard joining Aria T’Loak on her mission to retake the space station Omega from Cerberus control, and that you’ll be ditching your regular squad in favor of fighting alongside Aria and a female Turian mercenary leader.

Check out the trailer below. Do you guys intend to buy the DLC, or are you in the camp of “I already know the ending, so DLC no longer interests me?”

I’ll be buying the DLC, simply because I’m a completionist and I entered this series with the intention of seeing everything the trilogy had to offer. Despite the repeated slaps this year I feel that I owe it to the vision of the original creators and writers of Mass Effect to see Shepard’s story to the end.

I will not, under any circumstances, be extending this philosophy to the bastardised Mass Effect 4 or beyond.

Well, the games were good fun if dumbed down in each sequel, but I absolutely hated the ending and that alone makes me not want to continue Shepards story, because no matter what I do in the DLC’s the ending still sucks.

Additionally, Aria T’lok (Spelling?) is a crime lord. Why the hell would I waste Shepards valuable time taking back Omega for her? Shep is meant to be saving the galaxy from the Reapers, not fighting to place Al Capone back in charge of the Chicago Outfit.

I have the option of MEEM or MEHEM endings now, so I’m game :)

@Aedelric — Probably because she has something you want. You helped her to take over the mercs. This is probably more of the same.

I will admit, this was something in Mass Effect 3 that I wanted to do ever since I read the Mass Effect Invasion comics. Unfortunately, it wasn’t in the original game. In spite of this, i’m tempted to pick it up but 1200 ms points? Does this DLC have enough content to justify that price? I’ll be waiting until Gamefront does a review on the DLC and i’ll probably watch a few gameplay vids before I decide wether it’s worth my time or not.

Meh…doesn’t look too bad but I won’t be paying for it. I’ll use some *other means* to get it.

Nah…decided to skip all DLC after the extended cut mostly out of protest but also because it is hopeless. If you didn’t like the ending I really don’t see the point; for that number of points I can get at least 4 slices of really good pizza.

I certainly don’t have the time to play this right now, and I’m not sure I’m that interested anyway.
