Kinect Commands Guide
Tips & Tricks
- To give commands with the Kinect, speak clearly and use the keywords listed below.
- Giving commands to Cmdr. Shepard is as simple as stating the command.
- Words like “Open” or “Examine” allow Shepard to interact with the environment, while weapon names or ammo types will automatically switch. For example: Open, Examine, Shotgun, Assault Rifle, Sniper Rifle, Pistol, Incediary Ammo, Cyro Ammo, etc.
- To gives your squadmates commands, state the name of your squadmate followed by a command keyword. Some commands require the aiming reticule to target enemies or areas.
- For example: Say “Garrus Incendiary Ammo” and Garrus will switch to Incendiary Ammo. Or, say “Ashley Follow” to command Ashley to follow you. Say “Liara Attack” and use your reticule to have Liara attack an area.
- Voice commands are best for avoiding the squad command menu. Issuing special attack commands with Kinect is much faster than using the on-screen menu.
