Easter Eggs

Max Payne Theme, played by Max Payne.

In Chapter 1, you’ll enter an apartment with a few murdered bodies. Interact with the nearby piano to play the Max Payne theme. The same can be done in later levels, whenever you find a piano.

Captain Baseball Bat Boy (With Foreign Dub!)

  • During your memories looking back at New York, one of your neighbors will cause a problem in your apartment building. Instead of continuing forward, explore his apartment. Look inside and watch TV to find a fully animated cartoon version of Captain Baseball Bat Boy! Too bad it’s only the first half of the episode…
  • You can catch the second half of the episode while evading death squads at the Bus Station. Use the TV and watch the Portuguese dub to see the thrilling conclusion.

Mona Sax Returns?

  • Just after the dubbed second half of Captain Baseball Bat Boy, stick around to see the beginning of a commercial for the Mona Hotel, with the voice of Max Payne’s love interest Mona Sax. Max comments that he must be going crazy.

Alternate Old-School Costumes

  • After completing Max Payne 3′s story, you’ll want to jump back into Arcade Mode to perfect your Max Payne skills. Now that you’ve finished the game, you’ll unlock two secret costumes for Max.
  • Play as a scrunched Max Payne 1 skin, or the slightly better Max Payne 2 skin, showcasing the last two generation’s finest character modelling. Make sure to watch the cutscenes, these old models will still do all the acting!

Demonic Child Birth

  • During Chapter 3, after reaching the FĂștbol training area, run to the lounge-like room in the back to find a large flat screen television. Check it out to see a very strange Soap Opera that results in a frightening birth.
