Max Payne 3 Multiplayer Cheater Pool Launched

Today, Rockstar Games made good on its promise to stick it to multiplayer cheaters, with the launch of the brand new Cheaters Pool. The pool is a corral for players who are confirmed to have ruined everything for the rest of us by using hacks or other exploits to eke out an unfair advantage. While such players aren’t banned from Max Payne 3 multiplayer, they are forced to play only against one another.

There’s something kind of classical about the deliciousness of this punishment. Rockstar will still make money off dicks, and the dicks can be rude to one another. Everyone else just moves along as if nothing happened. Brilliant.

It’s so brilliant in fact that oh who am I kidding. Dammit, Rockstar, hurry up and just announce Grand Theft Auto 5 already. Seriously.

See the official Rockstar site for more information about the cheater pool.

I would really enjoy it if CoD and Halo went this route; I’m getting sick of seeing people doing sniper-shots while doing back-flips off vehicles.

Also RockStar did announce Grand Theft Auto V, your site even has the teaser trailer in the archives from a month or so ago.
