Max Payne 3 Multiplayer Gameplay Video — Part 2

Rockstar has released the second video in its two-part series showcasing Max Payne 3′s multiplayer component, which incorporates both storytelling and gunplay into an online experience for up to 16 players.

A Gang Wars mode uses events from the single-player game as narrative starting points for matches with a dynamically shifting storyline based on the outcomes of each round. Players will be able to form grudges and alliances, join Crews, and pull off special abilities called Bursts, which include Bullet Time, of course. Although I’m not sure how bullet time works in multiplayer — when activated, does it turn bullet time on for everyone? If so, doesn’t that defeat the purpose? If not, then… how can they do it without breaking the laws of physics?

Prepare your painkillers, the Payne is back for a third session of shoot-dodging. Grab your pistols, join our text and video walkthrough and you might just survive.
