Metal Gear Solid: Rising Cuts Away the Past

risingOne of the 3rd party games shown during the Microsoft Press Briefing was Konami’s upcoming Metal Gear Solid: Rising. The game advances the MGS storyline with Raiden rather than Snake in the driver’s seat and apparently swordplay is a huge part of the conceits of this new MGS game.

The trailer (which I’m sure we’ll have up later today) was short and sweet and featured everyone’s favorite cyborg ninja assassin running around on the streets cutting through anything and everything with his mono-katana. The trailer is light on real story info but we can expect stealth and lots of evisceration and decapitation..

Swordlplay… Anyone get a feeling this is the branching out of the franchise to cater to fans of the Devil May Cry genre? *mash* *mash* *mash*

MGS Rising and all MGS are occult video game franchise, this video game is all about mind control and synchromisticism, i used to be a fan of that but today i can no more play it!
