Metal Gear Solid 4 2007 Release Date?

Metal Gear Fans were sorely disappointed when Konami announced the release date was pushed back to Q1 of 2008. Well don’t hold your breath but it looks like a 2007 release date may just be back on. A banner ad for the Tokyo Game Show has the release date for Metal Gear Solid 4 Guns of the Patriots listed as Winter 2007. on the official website, there in a link for the Tokyo Game Show that is set to go live Sept. 20. Hopefully Konami will be announcing this officially tomorrow. For now, I’m ready to gear up this winter.

I didn’t think this was very likely, but who knows. One thing is for sure, if it DOES happen, it will dramatically alter the consumer landscape this holiday season.

Seriously, will Konami make up their freaking minds, already?! We’ve had it as a PS3 launch title, then it was moved to early ’07, then late ’07, then Q1 ’08, and now back to ’07?!
I couldn’t be happier.

i’ve been waitin fer d release f dis game. can some1 temme whether ps3 or xbox 360 wud b better fer dis game?? coz ive read dat xbox 360 will b havin some additional features of mgs 4…

it will come out for the ps3 in march 2008 and later in the year it will come out for the 360

@ player of the game. No it wont. It is released exclusively on the PS3 next year. There is absolutely no evidence whatsoever of a 360 version being developed. Sony, Hideo Kojima and more recently Microsoft have all said it’s exclusive to the PS3.
