Metro 2034 Confirmed, Will Be In 3D
One of the better games to stay under the radar this year was THQ’s Metro 2033, a post-apocalyptic shooter set in the subway of Moscow. THQ had the 3D version of Metro 2033 playable in their booth at E3, and I got a precious few minutes to try it out. It was quite impressive, assuming you have the hardware to push it.
Now, in an interview with CVG, THQ’s Core Games VP, Danny Bilson, has announced that Metro 2034 is in development.
In the interview, Bilson said, “We’re going to be doing a 3D version of that on Metro 2034 – the sequel.” He also confirmed that there will be a Metro 2033 DLC pack with new weapons, new achievements, and a new “Ranger Mode,” in the very near future.
Until Metro 2034 hits, you can whet your appetite by picking up Metro 2033 as part of the THQ Complete Pack at Steam’s Perils of Summer Sale.
