Metro Redux Gets a Release Date

Deep Silver announced today that Metro Redux will hit stories in the US on August 26th, 2014.

Metro Redux is a combo pack of the remastered versions of Metro: 2033 and Metro: Last Light. The Remastered versions contain all previously released add-on content a special play-style for each game and a new difficulty level, “Ranger Mode” for those who enjoy the most realistic and difficult experience possible in a game.

Metro Redux will be available for the XBox One, PlayStation 4 and, of course, the PC this summer for $50. Linux and SteamOS versions will become available in the future. If, for some reason, you’re only interested in one of the titles, you will be able to download the “Redux” editions through your respective marketplace for $25 each.

If you have never played a Metro game, you should. As one who’s played both, if you’re into Action, Adventure and Horror games with RPG elements, this game will certainly keep you busy.
