Nintendo uploaded their new Metroid Prime 3 commercial to YouTube today. The commercial is set to air on television next week. This is a 60 second version of the 30 second version that will air. Metroid Prime 3 makes a timely appearance on shelves next week as the Wii library is still desperate for more hit titles. The weak Wii library of games is really starting to shape up and looks like by fall, it will be fairly strong. The ability to get your hands on a Wii is still a tough thing to accomplish and I can only assume it’s going to get harder in the next few months. If you see one, grab it because your chances might be far and few between, depending on where you live.

Here’s hoping that if this does well, it’ll encourage other developers to make FPS’ for the console. The PC might suddenly have an FPS rival!! (Granted, not graphically)
Still, the controls certainly looked swift and kinetic…should be good.

yeah, graphically, the Wii competes with the last gen consoles. It’s not really about that when it comes to Wii games. I’m not even a big fan of the Wii currently, but I do see a lot of potential. I think FPS and fighting are really the way to go for the future of the Wii.
