Microfsoft's Jeff Bell Lashes Back at Criticism

Or maybe it was just plain poo-talking. Yes, I wrote “poo.”

It appears that Microsoft’s VP of Global Marketing, Jeff Bell, just can’t take it when gamers talk smack about him on the internet. On one particular site in general, he apparently sent a private message to one such smack-talker, writing, “And your contribution to society is…what?”

For all of you looking for the definition of irony, look no further than a video game marketer asking a video game player what his contribution to society is.

But aside from that, 1up.com appears to have a “trusted source” and other information which supports the idea that it was, indeed, Jeff Bell directly sending comments to the internet smack-talker.

Jeff, do you really have that much time on your hands?
