Microsoft: HALO MEANS EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For whatever reason, Microsoft Games Studios head man Phil Spencer has equivocated the success of the Xbox platform with the success of Halo in an interview with OXM UK.

If we lose our way with Halo, we lose our way with Xbox, because Halo and the importance of games like CoD and other shooters, that state of the art needs to continue to move forward, and our team at 343 need to move forward with that. That’s always going to be one of our success criteria.

I’m not sure I understand the point here, although I guess it does explain the existence of Halo 4 and Halo Anniversary. They have to keep making Halo games or else the Xbox will be a failure. Or something. I might just be a douche.

We prove that Halo means everything in our sped-up video walkthrough of Halo 1!

This isn’t state of the art. It’s just marketed bull to dumbed down children of today. Games back then were simple but hell even shooting simple sprites in doom were better this .

I quit playing Halo after I finished the first Halo game that was released, since then I never could understand the hype and often times telling the people around me that want to play the latest release that I really couldn’t give a damn.

A couple days ago I was watching my nephew play Halo 3 ODST and found it a bit interesting, definitely a lot of improvements to the halo series has been made since the first one. Shoot that could even be worth talking about on here maybe in its own article, from the old to the new the evolution: Halo

O well, I’m still not playing the games.
