Microsoft Hiring at 343 Industries for Next Halo Title

If you’ve ever wanted to break into the gaming industry, or if you’re looking for work in it, Microsoft is looking for a few good people.

Over at the Microsoft Jobs Page, 24 jobs at 343 Industries are posted ranging from Development Engineers to Character Artists. The game? Halo.

In case you hadn’t heard, 343 Industries is the internal studio Microsoft has created to act as “stewards” of the Halo franchise. 343 Industries has some ties to Bungie, as their creative director is Frank O’Conner, a former Content Manager at Bungie.

It will be interesting to see how a non-Bungie Halo game is received by the community, but we won’t get a chance to gauge that for quite some time yet. Until then, you can look forward to Bungie’s Halo: Reach on September 14th.
