So, we know that Microsoft buys just about anything they can. Now, they’re looking to pick up some land that Nintendo owns that is located directly between Microsoft’s Redmond, WA headquarters and Nintendo’s building there.
Apparently, Nintendo had purchased the land prior to making the decision to move many of their employees to Silicon Valley and New York. Now, Microsoft wants to buy the land for themselves. But, they are not alone. Jim Roberts, Redmond’s deputy planning director, said, “I think there’s a lot of interest besides Microsoft. If you think about the Overlake area, there’s not many big pieces like that left.”
