Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor E3 Trailer Details Nemesis System

Your enemies in Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor have long memory, as this new E3 trailer demonstrates.

Shadow of Mordor will incorporate what they call “The Nemesis System,” to bring its enemies to life. If you are killed by an enemy, they’ll express surprise when you come back for more, and they’ll be tougher to beat the second time around.

But that’s not the only purpose the system serves. As the trailer above show, you can also dominate enemies you defeat, and use them to attack Sauron’s armies from within. You can have your minions duel other orcs to weaken Sauron’s armies, and even build your own army to take the fight to the Dark Lord himself.

You can see more in the trailer above. Shadow of Mordor is set to release Oct. 7 on PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.
