Minecraft 1.4.7 Released, Notes

Minecraft lead developer Jens Bergensten revealed via Twitter that the game has been updated to version 1.4.7. The Mojang blog elaborates, detailing the bug fixes included in this version.

The fixes are:

  • Fixed crash related to arrows fired from dispensers
  • Fixed a multiplayer crash when using fireworks without a fireworks star
  • Fixed long timeout when checking SRV records

As of the start of this year, the PC and Mac versions of Minecraft have sold 8.7 million copies, and the entire franchise, which also includes mobile and console versions, has sold over 17.5 million copies, with nearly half a million sales on Christmas Day alone.
