Minecraft DOTA is a Thing You Can Play Right Now (VIDEO)

Yup. Somebody built a version of DOTA in Minecraft, because why would you buy or play other games when you could just buy Minecraft and build your other games inside it?

The fully functional version of Minecraft Defense of the Ancients lets players get up to all the crap they might in DOTA, DOTA 2 and League of Legends. Cooler still, it doesn’t require any mods — it’s all powered in-game with redstone. You’ll have towers to kill and enemies to fight as you team up against other players, and Minecraft DOTA even includes secret areas and buffs you can snag from around the map.

The only potential complication is that breaking blocks potentially can allow players to cheat and exploit the game, and the makers of Minecraft DOTA recommend players do mod the game slightly, in order to prevent block breaking. Apparently, even taking out something as simple as grass or flowers has the power to unbalance things.
