Single Player Commands is a popular mod for Minecraft that allows total control of the game world through typed commands, reminiscent of cheat codes from the days of old.
The commands, of which there are a few dozen, allow you to do such things as:
- Shoot a primed TNT in the direction you are pointing
- Kill the NPC you are pointing at
- Kill all aggressive or friendly NPCs
- Ride any NPC which you point at
- Turn player damage on/off
- Destroy the current item
- Set the difficulty to the specified level (0-3)
- Turn item drops on/off
- Transfer everything in your inventory into a chest that spawns next to you
- Put out all nearby fire (or all fire)
- Turn fall damage on/off
- Turn fire damage on/off
- Turn flying mode on/off
- Freeze mobs so that they cannot move or attack you
- Heal a player the specified number of points
- Keep your items when you die
- Kill all living creatures nearby
- Repair the currently selected item to full health
- Change your players skin to any Minecraft player
- Spawn an individual creature

Manual Installation
1. Go to the “.minecraft/bin” directory and backup minecraft.jar
2. Using 7zip or equally capable archive viewer open minecraft.jar
3. Delete the META-INF folder (if on a MAC *only* delete the Mojang_c files)
4. Copy ALL the “.class” files contained within the mod to minecraft.jar, replacing the existing files.
5. Close minecraft.jar
6. Copy ALL the “.jar” files contained within the mod to the “.minecraft/bin” directory (the same directory as minecraft.jar). This means copy WorldEdit.jar into “.minecraft/bin” NOT into Minecraft.jar
7. Enjoy the mod.

where is the .minecraft/bin” directory and minecraft.jar ? i cant find it on the computer. is it on the web browser? i could not find the target from the shortcut. thanks

all right.found it. you must search for the folder with the mindcraft files. it took some time , but now -ok.

guys you need to be using the launcher for ANY MODS TO WORK if you play on the browser you cant use any mods or itll blackscreen

The Single Player Commands mod is outdated and won’t work for any Minecraft version but 1.4_01.
In other words, google it to find the thread in the Minecraft forums to download the most up-to-date version.

When I installed the mod I couldn’t find the META INF file. Where is it supposed to be?
It must be that I didn’t delete the file, because when I press ‘T’ the command line doesn’t show up. orz

I got a blackscreen after deleting META-INF I’ve tried the auto-installer and the manual installer i’ve worked with plenty of mods before this one is the only one that does this any suggestions?

To install single player commands you need to go:
bye
run, than write %appdata% and go to .minecraft,next go in your bin folder and there have a minecraft.execute jar.right click open with winnrar or 7zip than delete META-INF folder and paste the class files.Close the minecraft.execute jar and copy and than paste the world.jar.That is it

Its such as you read my mind! You seem to know a lot about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you could do with some p.c. to pressure the message home a little bit, however other than that, that is fantastic blog. A fantastic read. I will certainly be back.
