Minecraft — Risugami’s Mods: ModLoader, Elemental Arrows, Recipe Book, and More
While we featured Risugami’s mods in the #1 spot on our list of the top 10 best Minecraft mods, there is simply so much content here that they deserve their own post, complete with download links. His mods are so popular that they made it into the Yogscast top Minecraft mod compilation pack.
Risugami’s mods do everything from reshaping the very foundation of the world to allowing you to put items on display. The mods are:
ModLoader Beta: A mod manager that prevents conflicts with mods that alter rendering, recipes, add entities, GUI, smeltables or fuel.
Light Sensor: Adds a new craftable block that serves as a new input for redstone mechanisms. It turns on if it is hit with 12 light levels.
Elemental Arrows: Adds four new types of arrows: explosive arrows, fire arrows, ice arrows, and as as joke, egg arrows.
More Stackables: Increases your ability to stack items.
Sign Tags: Adds commands to allow you to make signs tell you the time, your location, the temperature, and more.
Death Chest: When you die, you drop a chest filled with your items.
AudioMod: A modder utility, this allows Minecraft to play audio files.
Floodgate: Allows toggleable water and lava falls.
Spawner GUI: Adds a GUI to all mob spawners that allows you to pick what mob to spawn.
Block Distortion: Adds random distortion to all 3D objects.
Griefer Creepers: Makes creepers morph into 100 arrows launched into the air to rain death upon the countryside.
Shelf: Allows you to put items on display.
Biosphere: Generates a world made up of massive spheres with glass domes.
