Mirror’s Edge 2 Apparently Leaked Through EA Support Desk

It appears that EA can’t keep the lid on Mirror’s Edge 2.

Earlier this week, Amazon listed the game on its Italian and German sites – both with Xbox One mock-up art – and the listings were promptly removed once noticed. While that could be chalked up to a goof at Amazon, the accidental listing of Mirror’s Edge 2 on EA’s support desk is a far more serious mistake, as it comes straight from the publisher. It has, of course, been taken down, but we snagged a screenshot before it was pulled.

DICE has been busy in recent years with the Battlefield Series, but Mirror’s Edge was well-received and liked by the general gaming community, with special praise being heaped on the entertaining parkour mechanics. The sequel has been in announcement limbo for quite a while now, and fans of the original regularly speak up in support of a sequel. Through these leaks, it appears that EA is going to revive the franchise with the next generation of consoles. Specifically, there are questions as to if Mirror’s Edge 2 will be an Xbox One exclusive game.

We’ve contacted EA for comment on this, and will update this story if and when we receive it.

I know many people who will be glad for this. One youtuber in particular who i recall saying “Make mirror’s edge 2 already!”
But yeah, its a good thing if EA moves away from generic, Mirror’s edge was rather unique, the only thing close was brink, but that wasn’t good.
