Miss Video Game Snubbed

Sun Media has a write up on a new theme to an old institution. Montreal will play host to female video gamers from around the world next month for the Miss Video Game competition. Contestants have been selected by popular online vote. Participants vie for $1,000, a gaming console and a trip for two to Mexico.

News of the competition has not been well received by many gamers. Most sight that it’s nothing more than a glorified beauty pageant since contestants submit photos for votes. Apparently fan boys prefer virtual beauties to reality.
