Mitchell Details Metal Gear Solid V’s E3 2014 Preview (VIDEO)

Our Mitchell Saltzman wasn’t able to actually play Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain at E3 2014, but he did get to see 20 minutes of the (huge) game in action, and has plenty to report about Snake’s upcoming exploits.

Most notably detailed in Mitch’s video from E3 is the inclusion of Metal Gear Solid: Peacewalker’s foulton recovery balloon mechanic in MGS V. In Peacewalker, players could use the balloons to send unconscious soldiers back to Snake’s base to be recruited to assist him; in MGS V, the balloon works the same way, except just about anything can be stolen, from soldiers to weapons, from crates to sheep, apparently.
