MLG Doing Well, to the Tune of 3.6 Million Viewers Per Event
Major League Gaming CEO Sundance DiGiovanni has revealed to TechCrunch that MLG broadcasts are basically owning ass, getting 3.6 million viewers per event. He puts that into perspective.
Our LIVE streams of the Pro Circuit National Championships garnered more 18-24 male viewers than Comedy Central, MTV, TBS, and FX draw in an average quarter hour and nearly as many as Adult Swim.
That’s what I call “doing pretty well.” It’s a number MLG can certainly hang its hat on, although it may not do much to give the circuit legitimacy in the eyes of those who don’t buy in. But if it can keep growing…
