Mod Men: Doom 2′s ‘Brutal Doom’ Mod (VIDEO)

Earlier this week, our James Murff spent some time talking about the great mod that is Doom and Doom 2′s “Brutal Doom.”

Inspired, James, Mitch and Zach tore into Brutal Doom to give it a go in this episode of Mod Men, and you can check out their gory exploits littered with digital bird-flipping (yes, you can taunt demons in Brutal Doom) embedded below. The mod adds a number of new features to the existing Doom and Doom 2 — like taunts, increased gore, locational damage (making your headshots count!) and even a jump button. Astonishing, I know.

But by all accounts, Brutal Doom is really fun. Hit this link to download the Brutal Doom mod. You’ll also need GZdoom. And, you know, Doom.

But Brutal Doom doesn’t add a jump button- GZDoom adds it. It annoys me how many people attribute GZDoom features to Brutal Doom itself.
