Modern Warfare 3 Gets Free Weekend on Steam – Preload It Now

Somehow I can’t believe there are players out there who might want to play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and don’t already own the game in some capacity. But hey, if you’re in that crazy minority, this post is for you: MW3’s multiplayer mode will be free on Steam all weekend.

The multiplayer mayhem starts at 10 a.m. PST on Thursday, Feb. 16 and runs through Monday. And if you’re really itching to play, you can even preload the free version of the game starting right now – just hit this link. You’ll need Steam, though; you have Steam, right? (If not, well, go here.)

BELIEVE! I played a little MW2 just yesterday as a deterrent not to waste my bandwidth or HD space on downloading a free MW3 weekend.

For its so called “console casualness” its nothing but Trolls, Haters, Greifers, and Cheaters.
As much as I hate the greed series now, I rather see people waste money over here, at least for the single-player.

$5 US. Hurry while it last.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 [Download] Steam activation.
(be warned, for $5 you’ll still be confronted with $30 worth of DLC maps on Steam)

When I can get MW3 for the same $5 just to have a legitimate copy to play the single-player with, maybe then I’ll grab it. Until then not interested it free for me.

COD 4 multi-player is still very much enjoyable. :P
