When I play this in local co-op, it will work for a few minutes, but then will just exit the game, for no reason, no crash report.
In some of the maps, the vehicles are all from bf2 and not the mod, why is this? Also, will there be different loadouts, like normal grenades for US Riflemen?

The mod is currently unstable. I mentioned that when I released it. A recent addition to the mod team, timotimotiom is helping to eradicate the most serious of crashes. He is currently working on that stuff for our planned December 25th release.

What maps do you mean have all BF2 vehicles? That might have been oversight on my part, but I can absolutely assure you now the vehicles on all maps are 100% BFK. I have gone through and personally rebalanced and fixes all gameplay objects that spawn on most maps, with some help from Ismoleboss and others.

If it crashes, just please keep trying. That is all you can really do for right now. :/

Uh, I don't know, I didn't add a handheld grenade to the rifleman kit since he has a rifle grenade, but I might do so since it doesn't really make lots of sense not to include it anymore since most other games allow you to have both.

There are 5 maps that use BF2 vehicles, at least the one that don't crash.
War torn city, Wake Island, MiG Alley, Iwo Jima and, a bad surprise.
Also, on Market garden, planes spawn inside 'fenced' buildings, so you cant get out without dieing.
Again also, can the 30 second base respawn be able to be changed, so I could have 10 second respawns.
Otherwise, great mod, can't wait for an update to it.

Yeah all that stuff has been fixed in the past year with maps.

Time to spawn was shortened ages ago too. It was made long to allow bots an opportunity to revive you.

hey. I got the BF2 Revive and I installed BF: Korea and I would say it was one of the most fun mods I've ever played. Last time I was here I was kind of spamming the front so yea. I wish you and your team good luck on the mod! I wonder why the previous developers abandoned a good concept.

Well it basically comes down to a few factors why they abandoned it. Firstly they didn't have usable player models at the time. We use heavily modified EOD player models now, and our Chinese models come from FH2 Pacific minimod as retextured Japanese.

Also, probably the biggest issue was with them having to deal with constant crashes and they never knew why as it wouldn't throw up error messages always. I am still dealing with that, but am trying to get a handle on most of the crashes that I know how to fix. Instead of not releasing it I decided to invite the community to help with bug finding and give suggestions. I think it is best that way as people actually get to experience all the blood sweat and tears that have lovingly been poured into the mod over the past 12 years.

I think I am going to try and have another update sometime between now and the end of the year if I can hopefully. I still haven't had time to rebuild the mod from scratch like I was planning to do, as it is a gargantuan amount of work. I just want everybody to see the new weapons we have added and other factions.

I have a friend of mine working on a new video for us that we are planning to post in a news update to show off the new weapons at least.

And no worries about spamming hehe.

Well, hopefully we can push an update out between now and then. It still won't be perfect, because I will have to still eventually rebuild the mod from scratch, but I think trying to get the AI better will help fix many of the crashes people keep having in singleplayer.

So much has changed in the last year from the first public release to the latest internal build, it will feel like an almost completely different game. Gun handling is more realistic where your aim turning speed is much better than with vanilla weapons, we have bullet drop, tanks have actual weight to them and drive faster like in real life. Plus, not to mention all the new factions and weapons and vehicles and great maps. We have listened to a lot of feedback, and are trying to give the community a much better polished game over all.

We should have a nice video for you all soon showing off most of the new weapons that my friend Deathblade100 has been working on for us.
