Any thoughts on more factions in the future other than the Commonwealth and South Korea?

Um, French MAYBE, but not sure. They used USA weapons, so why use the same stuff? I thought about using WW2 French weapons, but it is not accurate. I have a LOT of the Indochina weapons they used at the time in what is now known as Vietnam available to me now. But the main issue is getting them animated with 3D sights.

Those weapons would have been used in Korea had they been a bigger player in Korea. But unfortunately they were not.

Are the British skins going to be similar to the SAS models, or are they custom?

Custom. They are based on the IDF mods soldier models, which were in turn edited EOD2 mod soldiers, so no bulky glove hands, 100% skinny gloveless hands which is what you would have seen back then. All of our player models now come from EOD mod but are highly modified. Our US soldiers are what you see in PR:WW2 mod, which are also originally from EOD, but we reskinned them to be darker green like what US soldiers uniforms were in Korea, and also the USMC have that signature camouflage speckled pattern on their helmets.

KPA are reskinned from EOD as well, but our Chinese Peoples Volunteer Army are different player models completely shared with us from East Asian Battlefield which is a Chinese mod. They even made authentic kit geometry and everything too.

So to reiterate, we use none of the same player models you see in the current public release now except for the US Marines. All of the ****** hands will be completely perfect looking now in first person view.

Eh, we thought about it but why do that when we can lay claim to being the only Korean War FPS on the planet? XD

They use a lot of our content though and we use a lot of theirs too. We actually donated our unfinished mods content to PR in 2009. That BAR in PR came from us, as well as the M1 Garand and the m1897 Trenchgun.

Don't worry, we have lots of recoil on our weapons, angle mod for ricocheting weapon projectiles off of the ground and armor, so you have the chance to skip rounds off of tanks and the ground.

Trust me, the upcoming update I am planning to release this week it will feel more like FH2 since we take a lot of inspiration from them.

Plus, this mod has been in the works since 2005, to 2009 and took a long break. Then in April 2016 exactly 1 year ago I revived it, so it has a lot of content developed over the years.

No offense taken, but I just thought I have some explaining to do since I feel bad about telling people we are releasing and then things come up to prevent that happening.

I am depending on lots of other people on my team to help me with things I don't have the skill to complete. I have multiple people on the team all who have their own mods they are leaders of(General_Bradly from IDF, Ismoleboss from Urban Conflict/Black Hawk Down) and who also have real lives and who work for free and don't owe me or anybody anything. Plans don't always go like we want unfortunately. These 2 guys have worked their butts off for me helping me out more than I could ever believe. Plus it can't go unsaid that ArmorPH has also helped out a ton, who is a person who goes under that alias so as not to reveal who they are. There are also other peoples who are helping with things like nadvgia, LukeGrant, ArmorRus, emaozipujing and OdaNobunaga among other people.

I planned on having it released last week. 3 people have been working on various things for me which were dependent on other things getting done first.

Lesson learned, I am not telling people release dates ahead of plan as I can't always control the outcome. This is why many mod teams tell people "Soon™" or "When it's done". This is going to be my response in the future so people don't get their hopes up.

It is coming this week no doubt about it unless something comes up. I just showed you some new pictures of our new helicopter to prove we have been busy. There are literally tons of brand new content we have in the mod I never told anybody about so as to make it a complete surprise to you and everybody else when you play it and discover all the amazing additions.

Sorry if we have let you down but we have quality content we have been adding which has taken a lot of time to complete.

The feedback from fans has been overwhelmingly positive about Battlefield: Korea, and we are very proud people love us as much as they do. I think I speak for everybody on the team when I say we want to make this the best, most polished and graphically pleasing Korean War experience we possibly can within the BF2 engine.

To my observation you have a point, as a Filipino modder; we are not rushing into anything, I mean it's not end of the world you know ( ͡- ͜ʖ ͡-). Same thing goes to our BF2 AFP mod, we will release whenever we want, what we want, as long as all of the classified stuff are done, no more, no less ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°).

Oh, believe you me I can't tell you enough how hard it has been to have all the new content over the past 4 months and not being able to share it all with everybody! The new bullet projectiles and effects are going to blow everybody away!

We also got a boost in the effects of other things like particle effects, vehicle explosions and more!

Trust me it is going to feel like a completely different game for sure.

We just need some damned map creators on the team so we can have more dedicated maps instead of having to depend on placeholder BF2 community maps. We have lots of map static assets just waiting to be used on maps. We even have authentic Korean Houses just waiting to be placed on maps.

They are called Cho-Ga House (초가집) meaning Korean thatched house,

        Moddb.com

        Moddb.com

We have been using Chinese style houses instead and other buildings. But we do have the correct Korean style homes already.
