Is it just me or does this mod cause enemies to ignore Sentry Bots? They still get damaged but they always beeline straight towards me regardless.
Not a big issue, but having Sentry Bots that distracted enemies as well as shooting them made them much more useful.
Nevermind, seems like it was an issue because I was using v1.0. v1.1 seems to not have this issue, though it also means I'll have to replay the entire game from start again because I like saving certain specific points in the game to replay later.
Hello i have been playing your mod for awhile now and its really helpful it is awesome to have the grabber and super shotgun in Doom 3 as well as the other Bells and Whistles this mod Provides. And the headlamp is REALLY helpful no need for switching between weapons and flashlight anymore. though i have been having a hard time getting it to run Smoothly with a mod called Doom 3 Realistic Weapons v10 which all it really does is Balance out the weapons and changes how they work which i don't see how it would conflict with the Components of your mod. but it makes the weapon Selection go all Janky and messed up and i cant select the grabber anymore nor the super Shotgun. i have tried all the Methods Suggested in the installation instructions Manual you Provided like making a Base_Mod and D3XP_Mod folder outside of the base and D3XP folders and setting the Steam Launch Options. But it still didn't work i Even tried to add the Weapon Mods Files Specifically to the Mods Sub folders the cst_d3_a Folder and the cst_roe_a Folder as it affects the Standard Weapons in the Expansion pack ROE Along with the super shotgun in ROE as well and how it works. And it still didn't work. is the Mod i am trying to use with it just not Compatible?. i will leave a Link to the Mods Page so you can read the effects of the Mod yourself to see if it would effect your mod adversely and any help if possible to get the two Mods working together would be Greatly Appreciated. if Not i will just stick with CSTDoom 3 and stick with unmodified guns. Link to the Mod i am trying to use with CSTDoom3 v1.1 is here -----> Moddb.com
Thanks man. Unfortunately, CstDoom3 isn't compatible with the mod you have mentioned. I took a brief look at its modified files (inside the pk4's), and noticed that some of them are also modified by CstDoom3. Since this is guaranteed to cause conflicts, you can't combine these mods.
Regarding the manual, the instructions in Appendix A are intended to avoid installation conflicts only. By moving the other mods from "base" and "d3xp" to their own folders, you keep them available, but separated from CstDoom3.
i Appreciate the reply and thank you its a Bummer but oh well
Ok I keep getting a wrong game DLL API version error and I am using the steam version
Did you follow the installation instructions in the manual (Section 2)? Remember that you must use the created shortcuts (Section 2.5) to launch the mod. These shortcuts work even if Steam isn't running :)
Oh!... I should've read the instructions in the manual more clearly. Thanks.
You're welcome. Have fun.
You seem to know your way around the Doom 3 code like an expert! Great mod!
I would love if you could do something that has been neglected for quite some time and that is the introduction to modern features such as those that this mod provides to the multiplayer coop experience. Most coop mods are incredibly outdate by now and lack the polish and improvements the engine has received over the years.
Glad you like it, thanks! Although I don't intend to work with coop, I'll keep your suggestion in mind.
If you think about doing something for Coop someday, I'll be up to help you in whatever I can (specially doing maps compatible with coop and SDK minor features)
Thanks for your kind offer. I'll keep it in mind too :)
Yeah this guy has potential. Hopefully when I return back to my own mods I coulda use some of his unique assets.
Hi there! Thanks for the "potential", and good luck with your mods.
