I just updated to the new version, and i'm having a crash when i end turn. Now mind you, i played for about an hour, working just fine, playing as Dale. But now, i can't progress, since everytime i end a turn it crashes.
Any idea what it could be? I think i'll start a campaign with another faction, in the hopes that it was just a fluke
Hmm, it's possible an AI army is stuck in a siege and it's causing your Dale campaign to crash. I suggest you load up the Dale save, click end turn and then watch the faction selection along the top and see which faction is shown there. Take note of it as well as the faction that comes after it. Then, reload the game and load that same save and end turn again and see if the same faction appears.
If it does, then that means its one of their AI armies being stuck in a siege. So, what you'll have to do is reload the game again, load the same save, and then make a backup save and then go and use the cheat toggle_fow and look at all the armies of that faction in question and if any are besieging a settlement, move one of your generals next to it and attack it to end the siege (use the cheat auto_win attacker to guarantee your general wins [you do not need an army, just a single general]). Save a separate backup save after that point and try ending turn (perhaps move that general back).
If you end turn after doing that and the game doesn't crash, then you should be good to go. If it still does crash, then re-load the original save, save another backup, and this time use the same cheats but look at the armies of the faction that came after the initial faction since it's first couple moves could be linked with that bugged army. That said, then repeat the process from above and test if it works.
If you still have trouble, then I suggest you post your issue in the official DaC sub forum but specifically to the "Bugs % Crashes" thread since there's a lot more people there that could help you.

I don't know if this is a Medieval 2 issue (in which case sorry for posting this) or a Third-Age/Divide and Conquer issue but on my mithlond campaign I have an admiral with 6 command stars but on the battle menu he comes up with having 0, he's in the fight and it is the right admiral but it sets his command to 0 and I can't find anyone else having this issue
Unfortunately, I don't have any experience with that issue. So, I suggest you post this in DaC's official Bugs and Crashes thread where there's a lot of people who will be able to help you out.
Does DAC v2 have northern dunedain rebuild kingdom event?
As of right now in the development of DaC, DaC V2.0 has not started on the Reunited Kingdom script. However, we do have it on our to-do list so we plan to work on it eventually.
