Is this version compatible with Doom 3 BFG VR out of the box?

If not, you folks might want to get together and figure out how to make this beauty work in VR!

I have seen people combining the 2, I have no vr setup to test myself.

I really want to use the textures and sounds, but want to leave out the new lighting and effects. Is there a way to do that?

So I just installed this, first the 3.0 and then the update patch. Everything is working great, except soft shadows, with that enabled I have a grey transparent box that takes up a lot of the screen. I'm using a GTX 1080, 4690K and 16GB 2400MHz ram.

its a issues with the newest nvidia drivers, you can roll back your driver to the last version and it will work fine
