An Unreal weapon mod. Works with Doom, Ultimate Doom, Doom II and Final Doom. Should work with Freedoom, Chex Quest and other Doom engine games too but not tested.

    looking good so far. the weapon sprite, even if its been ripped, looks still good in the doom world. there is some weapon and some secondary fire missing but all is good so far. maybe some sound needs some little adjustment as they are not exactly like those from unreal.
    the pistol don't needs shaking when firing with it and if my memories are right the minigun should have a little rotation acceleration instead of firing instantaneously at max rotation.
    the shock ifle priary fire projectile sfx should be quicker or you should redo it with a straight appearing beam with only the blue rings as visual.

    aah all this make me wants some unreal monsters in doom :)

      The weapons from the original Unreal are complete, only the 3 extra weapons from the extension are missing but those are just weaker versions of already existing weapons. Yes, I removed the altfire of the Automag since it was pretty much useless in Doom and the primary fire is now as fast as the altfire normally is. Primary and altfire of the Stinger were exchanged to make it a good shotgun replacement. And the altfire of the Razor Jack was removed since it wasn't useful for Doom in my opinion.

        wierd i didn't saw the bio rifle... i'll check it out later.

        even if its not that usefull because you allready have other weapons with aoe projectiles its still unreal content and you can still use it to hit some little pack of mob or hit some around a corner by using the little aoe when firing on the floor or wall.
        the use of the secondary fire of the pistol was to have an inaccurate but rapid fire in comparison of the normal but precise fire of the primary fire to switch between long range and close range use.
        the stinger was never meant to be a shotgun in unreal but i understand that you wanted to have some kind of shotgun to fit the doom weapons order. (the true shotgun of unreal is the flak gun)
        that remind me of something, the dispertion pistol should have a charge attack for secondary fire.

        The Bio Rifle is just like the Razor Jack or the 8Ball a random replacer for the rocket launcher. I used the Flak Cannon as replacer for the super shotgun.
        You could use the "give all" cheat to test all weapons.

      Unfortunately I can't do it on my own since all the coding and scripting is for me like reading a mix of japanese, chinese and korean. But I found some very good looking sprites for the UT99 weapons. If I can find someone who is willing to do the scripting and coding there might be a UT99 version in the future.

      Unfortunately no. As you can read in the credits I just tweaked the weapons to be more fitting for the fast paced Doom gameplay. I'm very unexperienced and can't really do much. I wouldn't even call myself a modder.
