Huh. Have you tried using the arrow keys and enter to navigate the menu? It might be a problem with the resolution settings, which can sometimes happen with certain monitors. Try going to the settings and mess around with the resolution, and try putting the game on full screen mode. Xash3D is supposed to run on pretty much anything including old as **** computers, so I don't think that would be the problem. Hope this helps, and if it works/doesn't work, message me back, ok?

What do you mean you can't get it to work? What happens when you click hl.exe? It crashes?

Yeah, Moddb's upload mechanic is completely bugged out to me. Only choice is to have it uploaded on Google Drive. Sorry people, that's the only way. Tried everything including from manual upload to uploading the same file on various sites and Moddb refuses to do both of them for me.

The moddb file upload system seems to be broken, so I'm uploading the full version on Google Drive only.
    Here it is : Drive.google.com
Have fun everyone. Sorry for the inconvenience.

So, is this a genuine Brutal Shaft?

Not really. It's more of a reboot of the Half-Life story, far away from the established canon.
